You would never be able to tell there was any prior damage. Everything was seamless, I trusted them fully. Jeff and his crew exceeded my expectations and knocked it out of the park on all fronts. I wouldn't take my vehicles anywhere else but Bodywerks! Jeff & Dawn Weitzel own/operate a five start business! With owning five vehicles and having hit a few deer in our time, Jeff has always been easy to work with and very helpful when it comes to having to deal with the insurance company. Just a few weeks ago, my son hit a deer that did A LOT of damage to the front end and drivers side of the car. Within hours Jeff had the estimate complete and within a week the car was ready to go and back on the road. That included new parts ordered, installed and painted! Took two vehicles here on two separate occasions. Fantastic results! The first was so rusted around the windshield glass companies wouldn't replace it. They made it look new again and replaced the windshield. They also fixed the automatic window that wouldn't go up as well as the door handle that had stopped working! On the second vehicle it was a rear fender bender and once again it looks like new! Truly appreciate Jeff's dedication to quality workmanship! or should I say, "Werkmanship?!" Thank you Bodywerks!

Most of the time when you need a body shop it is due to an accident. Finding the right body shop to fix it shouldn't be an accident. I've been in the towing & automotive industry for over 25 years & I've seen the work of countless body shops & Bodywerks is the cream of the crop.Recently, I brought in a truck with a junkyard hood that required painting to match the truck. Jeff gave me a price & took the keys & in a couple of days he called & said it was done. When I arrived to pick it up I was totally impressed. Not only was the hood painted but he took the time to blend in the tops of the fenders. In doing that he had to replace the pin striping on the fenders but for the best look he pin stripped the whole vehicle! The paint was flawless & the finished work was excellent & all for the price I was originally quoted. Since then Bodywerks has become my "go-to" body shop.

Bodywerks started in 1966 as Burnsville Collision, founded by Jim Weitzel. The shop moved to Lakeville in 1974, then to its current Elko New Market location in 1996. The second generation took over the business in 2001 after working alongside Jim since their teens.
In January 2026, Karl Linton acquired the business. The previous owner stayed on as lead painter. The shop kept its standard, the same standard that has earned Bodywerks the Lakeville Sun Readers Choice award five times and an A plus rating from the Better Business Bureau.
